After attending this course the participants are expected to be able to understand how to build an integrated Plant Turnaround inline with PDCA (Plan, Do, Check and Analyze) management cycle. The 3-days course will thoroughly cover strategic planning technique, work preparation, implementation and what the Maintenance Planner things to do. The participants will be encouraged to actively participate in the discussion on today’s quality improvement of plan and Turnaround procedure simplification.

The participants will learn about:
Maintenance Turnaround performance related to how effective maintenance organization, how to develop performance indexes related to work-order, planning, scheduling, backlog control indicator developed by Marshall Institute.
-How to develop good maintenance planning including anticipating the common problems may arise.
-Implement planning and scheduling method, so that Planner is able to increase the maintenance -Turnaround management performance.
-Many aspects of maintenance inspection and variables to consider when performing maintenance Turnaround planning including spare parts, consumables, tools, equipments and manpower.
-Materials management system especially materials demand related to maintenance planning, including materials procurement, determining the minimum/maximum stock level in the inventory using ABC analysis and implementing the economic buffer stocks.
-Calculating the Availability Factor, Peak Shaving Maintenance cost.
-Standard terminology and objectives of planning and scheduling in line with the existing work load.

Turnaround or Shutdown in Terms of Maintenance at:
-Oil refinery and Oil & gas field,
-LNG plant
-Petrochemical industry,
-Power plant and Other big capital-intensive industry.
