DESKRIPSI PELATIHAN

 

This course provides introduction to the petroleum industries and petroleum engineering activities. The coverage starts from introducing the petroleum (oil and gas) industries, and it is followed by the illustration and description of oil and gas reservoir (what is it really looks like?). The participants will then be presented the petroleum engineering activities from finding, lifting, and transporting oil and gas. Brief presentation on the current technologies to increase oil recovery will be also presented.

 

After attending this course, course participants are expected to:

 

Understand the scope of the Petroleum Industry

Know the stages of petroleum operations in the world

In the exploration phase, to understand the environment the formation of Petroleum, and surveys in the search for petroleum

In the stage of drilling, knowing the main drilling systems and functions

In the evaluation stage, to understand the methods to determine the ability of a Petroleum reservoir

In the production phase, to understand the methods of artificial lift in oil wells Producing

Know themethods forremoval ofoilinthe advanced stage(Enhanced OilRecovery)
